Xavier Coulter

Xavier has a PhD in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Auckland University. He has teaching experience at both Secondary School and University, in general science, physics and mathematics.

Xavier focuses on incorporating greater emphasis on mathematical thinking and problem solving in education.

Xavier’s PhD researched focused on topological recursion, an algorithm used to recover computationally expensive numbers appearing in mathematical physics. This research required an ability to translate between a large variety of mathematical formalism’s.
